About this tour
Our one-hour passenger boat tour will take us by the puffin islands Elliðaey and Bjarnaey. These islands are known for being puffin colonies and Elliðaey has also become worldwide known as the island with the loneliest house in the world. As we sail by our only inhabited island Heimaey, you will be able to see the new lava that was released during the 1973 eruption of Vestmannaeyjar. A sea cave will also be visited on the trip where you will experience great acoustics and enjoy some music. You will learn about the history of the islands, the volcanic eruption, and puffins and other wildlife that you will see while sailing from a local guide. This tour runs at 1:00 pm from June to mid August. More information Tour length: One hour Price: Adults: 12,000 Icelandic krona (incl.
