After driving from Reykjavik towards the South Coast we make our first stop at one of the four beautiful waterfalls that we will discover today. The waterfalls are called Gljufrabui, Seljalandsfoss & Skógafoss, each more beautiful and spectacular than the others.. After making a stop where guests can buy lunch we drive up to the Solheimajokull glacier where we will go for a unique glacier walk in Solheimajokull which takes around 1,5 hours. Then we visit the black beach Reynisfjara where we will walk for a while along black beach under basalt clifs. The cliffs are home to countless puffins, kittiwake and fulmar, you can see them hunting for fishes taking off from nests. At the end of the day we drive to our accommodation for the night, a very nice hotel near the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon.

Day 2 – The amazing Glacier lagoon and Skaftafell National park
Today, you will take a close look at majestic glaciers and lagoons. In the morning, we drive to towards the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. The Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon is filled with huge chunks of ice which crack off of Breiðamerkurjökull glacier and float slowly out to sea. Some icebergs wash on shore, lying on the vivid black sand like diamonds on satin around with the possibility of seeing seals swimming around and huge icebergs. After exploring the lagoon we head back to Reykjavik, visiting the Hofskirkja Turf Church, journey through the Eldhraun Lava Field, stop at the majestic Fjadrargljufur Canyon and stop in the Village of Vik. It is possible to add an optional Boat tour on the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon to get even closed to the shimmering giants of Ice as they drift in the lagoon.
