About this tour
Snæafellsnes is a western region of Iceland between Reykjavík and the West Fjords, commonly chosen as a weekend destination among locals. During the trip we will see world-famous cliffs with bridge over the Ocean, volcanic crater and photogenic churches. There is also opportunity to enjoy the abundant waterfalls and gorges on this peninsula. At one of the stops, we will have a peek at seals and throughout the tour, we will be surrounded by various types of birds. We will have time to take a picture of the uniquely shaped glacier volcano peak of the peninsula. The day will end in a lovely town with a typical, Icelandic relaxed atmosphere. This tour could be extended by a visit to the cave or hike to the Snaefell Glacier.
